Midwest Laser Specialists, Inc., has the largest inventory of new and refurbished printers in the region. As a printer technician, you will be trained to install, provide maintenance on and refurbish hundreds of different printer models and components. You will also acquire parts and supplies and fix malfunctions to keep our fleet of equipment up and running. The printer technician will travel to various locations to service clients and will be expected to upsell equipment and services. When not on calls, the tech will work among a team in the office to service machines.

No degree required.

Regular Responsibilities:

· Manage the preventative maintenance program for clients including but not limited to: break/fix of single function and multifunction devices, toner installation, clearing of paper jams, duty cycle cleanings, device installations

· Oversee the client’s inventory levels (consumables) at their facilities

· Maintain printer fleet on a regular basis

· Perform weekly restocking of assigned company warehouse

· Completion of Page Count collection during monthly billing cycle

· Perform product delivery as service tickets are dispatched

· Perform duty cycle cleanings on client devices

· Maintain warehouse inventory and assess changes in inventory needs

Skills & Experience Needed:

· Proficient with technology

· Good Customer service skills

· Effective communication skills

· Ability to troubleshoot and think independently

· Mechanical and electrical aptitude and demonstrated skills

· Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds. Pull, lift, reach and transport equipment parts and boxes

· Must have valid driver license
